The 7.0L V8 produces 505hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed Manual Transmission. Carbon Fiber is more significantly utilized in the 427 Convertible as well, with a Carbon Fiber raised hood, Carbon Fiber Z06 Fenders, and Carbon Fiber Floor Panels. As a result of these performance figures and weight reduction measures, 60mph can be achieved in as little as 3.8 seconds from a standstill. Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension helps stabilize the car when cornering, while 14-inch front and 13.4-inch rear cross-drilled and vented brake rotors take care of stopping tasks.
