Finished in 'Mille Miglia' Red Exterior paint over a 'Red' Vinyl Interior, this example with 56k miles shown on the odometer is certainly noticeable in its Red over Red color combo, and is obviously powered by the LT-1 V8 engine as its power plant. In this C3, the drivetrain features a 4-Speed Close-Ratio Manual Transmission, along with a Performance Axle Ratio featuring a 4.11 Rear Axle. A Tinted Windshield is also optioned, along with the AM/FM Radio and P02 Wheel Covers. On this example, the brakes have been upgraded to feature Wilwood Disc Brakes, adding excellent stopping ability.

For 1972, the Corvette sported quite a standard equipment list for the time, beginning inside with a new blue-lighting effect for the gauge cluster, as well as new soft-feel control knobs for the interior. A 3-Speed fan was equipped in tandem with the heating/ventilation controls, and standard Astro Ventilation enabled airflow through the cabin with the windows shut. Leather grain padded vinyl stretches throughout the interior, and the floorboards are adorned with cut-pile nylon carpeting. For added driving convenience, the transmission even features a reverse lock-out device, preventing undesired shifts into reverse. Plus, both roof t-top panels can be removed, as well as the rear window, all in the name of open-air driving bliss.
